The third in line to the royal throne of United Kingdom, Prince Harry otherwise known as ‘Captain Wales’ in the military circle has confirmed that he was part of the team that killed some Taliban insurgents in Afghanistan within the past weeks.  According to him, “Our job out here is to make sure the guys are safe on the ground and if that means shooting someone who is shooting at them, then we will do it”.

Though, the Prince is one of the heirs to the throne, he prefers to be treated like other army personnel in the camp.

It was confirmed on Monday, 21st January 2013 by the Ministry of Defense  that the 28-year-old prince is returning from a 20-week deployment in Afghanistan, where he served as an Apache helicopter pilot with the Army Air Corps that operated in Afghanistan.
